On the Profound Effects of the Foreign-funded Enterprises' Supranational Treatment on the National Enterprises' Development

In order to explore the negative effects of the supranational treatment of foreign-funded enterprises in the background of the current economic transiformation, the industrial organization＇s mixed oligopoly competition analysis framework is used to analyse the current supranational treatment of foreign enterprises. It is pointed out that the foreign-funded enterprises that enjoy supranational treatment in China may become potential barriers stopping the domestic private enterprises from entry into both the domestic and world market competition. A conclusion is drawn that the supranational treatment of foreign-funded enterprises are not only decreasing the social welfare in China but also doing harm to the process of SOE＇s privatization in competitive industry.
