随着现代化城市及小城镇建设步伐的加快 ,如何保护好历史街区一直是各级政府与建设部门思考的问题。本文分析了我国保护历史街区的现状 ,把我国对历史街区的定位和国际上对历史街区的定位作了详细的介绍 ,并进行了比较 ,提出要保护好我国的历史街区 :必须提高对历史街区的认识 ;要立意高 ,敢于争创能列入世界文化遗产名录的历史街区 ;历史街区的保护 ,也要结合我国的实际 ,走可持续利用的保护之路。

Historical Blocks Must Be Preserved in a Sustainable Way

The modernization and speeding up of city construction have brought forth such a problem as how to preserve our historical blocks,which has always been the concern of governments at all levels and the construction departments.This article analyzes current situation of preservation of historical blocks in China,introduces in detail the definition of historical blocks in China and in other countries and makes a comparison between them.It also provides solutions in the end:in order to preserve historical blocks,we must enhance our understanding of them;we shall be ambitious and try to have more historical blocks listed in World Heritage; we also shall take into account the facts in our country and adopt a sustainable way.
