| 摘 要： | 作为具有现代主义倾向的作家,哈代在模仿古典悲剧时,对传统的悲剧形式进行了大胆的变革,以便更好地表情达意.若从<苔丝>中的悲剧主人公、悲剧结构和悲剧语言三方面对其悲剧形式加以探讨,就会发现这种悲剧与古典悲剧形式看似矛盾与不协调之处,正是哈代现代主义悲剧形式的独特性与独创性之所在.
