The Newspapers, Schools and Tianjin Literature in Modern Times

Between the 19th and 20th century,newspapers and schools became the preferred place for Tianjin humanistic intellectuals to stay.This,beside securing official positions and living in seclusion—the traditional way of life that the literati often chose,opened a new path in life,and also promoted the literature reform in Tianjin.Newspapers changed the transmission mode and writing style of literary works,promoted the literary trend and literary movement,promoted the hot spots transformation of literary varieties and primary education in the schools,contained the most basic human enlightenment and rational thought,and gave birth to new ideas of literature and literary works.The development of modern literature has a close relationship with newspapers and schools.
