我国高新技术企业规模与创新分布

摘    要:利用 960家高新技术企业的调查结果 ,分析了我国高新技术企业规模与企业创新能力之间的关系 .企业规模以企业雇员数量作为分类 ,按照国际通用的分类标准分析了各个规模层次的企业创新费用、R&D费用、销售额及创新率的分布规律 .在将研究结果与国外学者的研究结果和一般工业企业的情况进行了比较之后发现 :(1 )高新技术企业 R&D强度随着企业规模的增大呈阶梯下降趋势 ;(2 )创新强度大体呈现“凸 U”型分布 ;(3)相当一部分小型高新技术企业的创新效率较低

Abstract:In recent years, a number of studies about firm size and innovation find that sm a ll firms introduce more innovations than their larger counterparts. This has bee n widely interpreted as indicating that small firms are more innovative than lar ge ones, or that small firms are more efficient innovators than large ones. In C hina, however, the relationship between innovation and firm size in high-tech f irms still remains undiscovered, so this paper is completed to serve this purpos e. We hope that the conclusions we made in this paper can test those accepted vi ewpoints, and especially that some interesting conclusions can be found to expla in the special situations in Chinese high-tech firms. In study, survey data fro m 960 high-tech firms are used to analyze the relationship between the firm siz e and innovation capability. According to the gene-rally used classification stand ard by firm's employees, the paper also analyses the distribution pattern of inn ovation expenditure, R&D expenditure, sale scale and innovation ratio of differe nt firm size levels. After comparing our analyzing results with foreign scholars and general industrial firms, we find three special trends as follows. Firstly, R&D intensity decreases with the increasing of employees' number. Secondly, inn ovation intensity generally presents a convex U distribution trend. Finally, inn ovation efficiency of considerably small high-tech firms is low.
