机遇、挑战与对策--也谈加入WTO与贵州旅游业

贵州旅游业正以较快的速率在增长,但特定的地域、经济和观念意识,使其在产品的总体数量、经营规模、科技含量及人力资源开发方面均落后于周边省份.在我国即将加入WTO之际,我们必须转变传统观念、重视旅游教育,并结合贵州实际在多方面作出调整,才能抓住机遇,从而更好地迎接挑战,促进旅游业持续、健康地发展.

Opportunity, Challenge and Strategies-On China's joining of WTO and the tourist industry in Guizhou

Though the tourist industry of Guizhou is developing quite quickly now, with a comparison of its neighboring provinces, it is still lagging behind in respect of total number of tourists, turnover, level of technology and bringing up of personnel, due to certain particular problems in relation to the region, economy and viewpoints. Now China is at the gate of WTO, therefore it is necessary for us to abandon the traditional views, lay more emphasis on tourism education, quicken the steps in personnel training and adjust relevant policies in many aspects. Only in this way can we seize the opportunity, meet the challenge and guide our tourist industry to go ahead in a continuous and healthy way.
