Discussion of the Democratic Thought of Chen Duxiu

Democratic thought was an important content of Chen Duxiu's political thought, and it even was the main thread which ran through his whole life. Moreover, it was changing and developing little by little and that can be divided into 4 steps as follows: the first, during the New-Cultural Movement period, he advocated bourgeois democracy; the secend, when he became a Maxist, he stood for proletariat democracy; the third, after he was expelled from the Communist Party, there was some quantitative change in his democracy outlook; the fourth, the last 4 years of his life, his democracy outlook was changed qualitatively.
