| Abstract: | Learning English is learning the culture of native English sepakers and its different expressions. English and Chinese are different in culture,expressions as well as idioms. The cultural conflicts in idioms between the two languages cause a lot of misunderstandings, when learners use it in cross-cultural communication. This essay tries to tell the cultural and expressive differencesin learning and translating idioms by analyzing the relationship between culture and idioms the relationship between culture and idioms,in order that we can master them well. |
