| 摘 要： | 元认知是个体在对自身思维、自我意识的基础上，对自己的认知加工过程的自我反省、自我控制、自我评价和自我调节，以达到自动化的程度。大量研究表明英语阅读理解中的元认知包括三个构成要素：元认知知识、元认知体验和元认知监控。元认知在英语阅读学习中起着非常重要的协调和导向作用，并且可通过直接的训练获得。因此，提高元认知水平是提高英语阅读能力的突破口和关键。
