| Abstract: | The anti-foot-binding movement in modern Shandong,which began in the late 19th century and boomed in the early 20th century,reached its climax when Han Fuqu was the chairman of Shandong Province,and came to a successful ending during the period of War of Resistance against Japan.Its occurrence and development had profound social and historical causes.Due to multifarious factors,this movement was slow and tortuous. |
