| Abstract: | The study of Ningbo sound pattern and Beijing one can reveal the corresponding rules in terms of vowels. The research and application of these rules are of theoretical and practical value in the popularization of standard Chinese pronunciation in Ningbo-providing a short-cut for leamers of standard Chinese pronunciation in Ningbo and a theoretical background for the identification of the dialectic content of vowels. |
