| Abstract: | This article adopted a qualitative study to investigate 157 non-English major＇ s learning strategy used in reading. The results show that the four strategies, that is metacognitive strategy, cognitive strategy, social/affective strategy and compensation strategy, had mean values in the medium usage category, among them social/affective strategy had the lowest mean value. The overall frequency of strategy use also belongs to the medium usage category. |
