To develop modern agriculture is the inevitable choice for Henan Province.The results of calculation and contrasting analysis show that the level of agricultural modernization in Henan lies at the stage of the first agricultural modernization and in face of challenge of the second agricultural modernization.In the proecess of achieving agricultural modernization in Henan,it is necessary to resolve the problems of shortage of agricultural resources,serious diffuse pollution and scarcity of funds for production through the measures of protecting and improving agricultural ecology and environment,advancing rapid development of second and third industries,achieving science and technology progress,and connecting effectively agricultural system and social and economic systems.
