The Charm of the Soap Operas--Interpretation on Feminist

Many feminist scholars break up the male - centred value system and hold the view that the reason why the soap operas are so channing and popular among female audience is that the soap operas can bring narrative fun to the female, reflect the public pleasure mechanisms, show the private sector, and set up knowledge and discourse system of soap opera. However, whether these studies can completely represent the views of all female audiences, there are still rooms that deserve reflection.
