现代性、传统文化与中国特色现代化

中国的现代化应该是具有中国特色的现代化。现代和传统是不能截然分开的。传统文化是中国特色现代化不可缺少的人文资源。没有传统就没有现代化的中国特色。但重视和利用传统,更为重要的是对传统的超越和扬弃,而避免对之简单的继承或抛弃,这是塑造现代化中国特色的重要内容。

Modernity, Traditional Culture and the Modernization with Chinese Characteristics

Modernization of China should be the modernization with Chinese characteristics,since tradition and modern times cannot be seperated.Traditional culture is indispensable humanistic resources of the modernization with Chinese characteristics.In other words,without tradition,there would be no Chinese characteristics of modernization.However,when tradition is valued and made use of,a more important thing is to surpass tradition and draw essence from it,rather than to cast it aside or inherit it simply.And this is an important part in developing Chinese characteristics of modernization.
