在信息化、数字化技术飞速发展的今天,高校图书馆作为信息最密集、交流最活跃的场所,要想提供较完善的信息服务,信息资源建设是核心和关键。因此,图书馆必须多角度、多途径对信息资源进行整合,不但要对馆藏的纸质资源、电子资源及自建的数据库进行梳理,还应对网上信息资源进行收集、整合,才能满足读者对信息的需求,发挥其自身优势,提供优质服务,实现馆藏价值。

In an age of information and digitalization,it is essentially important to build up information resources and provide advanced information service for university libraries which are typical of intensive information and great frequency of information.University libraries,therefore,are supposed to consolidate as many information resources as possible,for example,printed resources,electric resources,self-built databases,together with those on the Internet.A university library with highly consolidated information resources can meet readers' demands and provide better services.
