| Abstract: | Nocturnal images are abundant in Song Ci (Song Dynasty Lyrics), making this literary genre literature of the night. The initiatives of the poets in exercising their imagination, their extremely active mental response to night scenes, the literary features of Song Ci exclusively enjoyed by the bureaucrats and men of leisure, the spiritual liberation and humanistic awakening of the people, all accounted for this literary phenomenon in the poetry of Song Dynasty. |
