| Abstract: | Zhou Mi, the great master of Bi Ji, lived in late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty. His writing, which truly reflected his contemporary social lives, is of significant literary and historic value. Based on detailed research of related documentations, the article first explores the relationship between his writing principles and his family background. His family records, which were compiled by his forefathers, provided sources of information and examples of writing. In addition, his rich life experiences and wide range of friends contributed to the formation of his academic aptitude and the accumulation of his writing materials. |
