当代中国构建和谐社会的目标定位和实践路径

当代中国社会转型和社会矛盾是构建和谐社会问题提出的现实依据。和谐社会的构建是一个循序渐进的动态发展过程,需要我们进行科学的目标定位:1.从理想目标和长远目标来看,我们要建设的是"民主法治、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力、安定有序、人与自然和谐相处的社会;"2.从中期目标来看,新时期党和人民面临着实现社会主义现代化的伟大使命;3.从近期目标来看,党的十六大报告确立了全面建设小康社会的奋斗目标,十六届六中全会则提出了更为具体、全面的8大目标和任务;4.从当前的阶段性目标来看,要以社会公正为基本出发点,着力解决人民群众最关心、最直接、最现实的利益问题。我们要把构建社会主义和谐社会的价值取向和现实要求有机统一起来,最大限度地消除不和谐因素,以促进当代中国经济社会又快又好地发展。
