There are many similarities between China and Vietnam regarding the development of the Internet,but also different features with their own strong and weak points by comparison.Considering Basic Internet resources,both China and Vietnam are seriously lacking the resources of IPV4 address;but the growth of Vietnam’s international outlet bandwidth is higher than that of China,and its average Internet speed is also higher.As far as Internet users are concerned,Vietnam has less than China;Its Internet penetration rate is also lower than China,but its increment speeds are faster than that of China;The ages of the users on both sides are mainly under 40 years old and most are students,but the proportion of Chinese male users are slightly higher than Vietnam’s counterpart;The overall educational background of Vietnamese users is higher than China’s counterpart.China and Vietnam have broad prospects for future development in the cooperation of the Internet field.
