| Abstract: | The construction of characteristics in running a college or university is the demand of the college reforms and development. The characteristics include the college spirit, the subject construction, the pattern of training talents, the specialty construction, the curriculum construction, the construction of the teaching faculties, the pattern of school management and the characteristics of the campus culture. Studying these characteristics of running a school involves the deep analysis of the causative factors and the adherence to scientific principles and methods. The characteristics are the basis and premise for a college/university's survival and development. Only with its characteristics can it win higher social status, bring its advantages into full play, and actively participate in the competition. |
