摘    要:北京提出了建设世界城市的战略目标,旅游业是该进程中的优势产业和重要支柱产业。20世纪80年代的全球化浪潮和服务社会兴起构成了世界城市诞生的背景。世界城市在全球发挥着控制、创新、服务和消费等功能。建设世界城市要构建良性的城市—区域关系,旅游流是维系世界城市网络的最重要纽带。北京作为中国的总部基地、创新中心、服务中心和"消费城市",在建设世界城市的过程中必将带动北京旅游业的多元化快速发展。

Abstract:Beijing proposes the strategic objective of becoming a World City before 2050,tourism is designated to be a priority industry in achieving that goal.The wave of Globalization and the rise of the Service Society in 1980s constitutes the background of the birth of World Cities.World Cities have controlling,innovating,servicing,and consuming functions in the global economy.The nature of World Cities is their connections.Tourist flows are the most important ties linking the World City Network.Beijing,as the headquarter basement,innovation center,service center,and"Consumer City"of China,is quickly emerging as a new World City,and its tourism industry will embrace diversified and rapid development.
