重新定义民族主义

目前国内外关于民族主义定义众说纷纭。在分析研究已有民族主义概念的基础上,本文试图重新定义民族主义,即民族主义是指在人类社会历史发展进程中,建立于民族共同体基础之上的维护和扩大本民族政治、经济和文化等权益的思想观念、理论思潮和实践活动,以促进本民族的生存、独立和发展。

Redefinition of nationalism

Different people may have different definitions of nationalism at home and abroad. Based on the concepts defined before, the present article is supposed to offer a new definition, namely, nationalism refers to the concepts, theoretical trends of thought and practical activities based on national community for the purposes of safeguarding and increasing its political, economic, cultural rights and interests in the duration of historical development in the human society so that it can realize the existence, independence and development of its own nation.
