高校公共课教学“普化”特点及其教师“普化”业务思维取向——兼谈对高校公共课教师的评核评定标准

高校公共课具有公共性、通识性、传授性、驳杂性等特点,在长期的教学过程中,高校公共课教师一般形成并习惯于“普化”(universal)的教学思维取向。与高校专业课教师“专化”(special)思维取向有着很大差异。在时下强调以科研成果多寡为教师业务评核标准和职称评定标准的大趋势下,较之于高校专业课程教师,高校公共课教师处在不利地位。这种情况应该引起教育主管部门和高校领导的重视。专业课教师与公共课教师、不同类型大学的公共课教师应采取不同的评核评定标准体系;呼吁对公共课教师“普化”工作给以肯定和保护,以调动广大公共课教师全身心投入普化性的教学工作中。

Evaluation of Teachers of Common Required Courses

The teaching of common required courses is different from the teaching of specialized courses.It is common,general and heterogeneous.The common course teachers are required think generally in their work.In view of the present stress on research achievements,common course teachers are in an awkward position.This article appeals for responsible attention from leaders of colleges and universities to encourage and protect the selfless devotion of common required course teachers to meeting the requirement of general education at colleges and universities in China.
