| 摘 要： | 台湾学者陈益源先生的新著《元明中篇传奇小说研究》是一部着人先鞭、开拓创新之作，扩展了我国古代小说研究之领域；但在古代小说的研究中，如能在注重文本研究的同时，强调推究作者和作品产生的历史时代和社会的变迁，对于把握小说的总体成就，无疑是相当重要的。

| Abstract: | The book Studies of Literary Novelettes of the Yuan and Ming Dynasties by the Taiwan scholar ChenYiyuan, is a pioneering and creative work in enlarging the research field of ancient Chinese fiction. This articlesuggests that ancient Chinese fiction studies should lay stress on textual analysis and at the same time pay moreattention to the study of the writers' historical and social background. This is important to understand the generalsignificance of their works. |
