| Abstract: | The present paper has not only analyzed the new features of English hi tech abbreviations such as alphabetical substitution, the use of minuscule, digital representation of abbreviated letters, homonymy, abbreviation of abbreviations, omission, and homophonic substitution, but also expounded on the causes for the features, the purpose of which is to help familiarize ourselves with the principles of their derivation and formation, and to facilitate the use of such words. |
