| 摘 要： | 礼貌原则是言语交际中一个重要的语用规则。然而语言学家发现在跨性别文化交际中男女遵循着不同的礼貌原则。这些差异会不可避免地导致跨性别文化中的失误。本文试图根据礼貌原则的六个准则对言语交际中的性别差异进行讨论，旨在揭示语言交际中男女所处的不同地位及其所采取的策略，并以此为基础，改进课堂教学，尤其是口语教学的训练效果。

| Abstract: | Courtesy is one of the important pragmatic principles in language communication. However, both men and women follow their own courtesy principles in cross- sex communication. These differences may inevitably lead to communication break - downs in cross- sex communication. This paper, based on the six maxims of courtesy principles, tries to deal with the gender - related differences in courtesy principles in language communication. The purpose is to reveal the different positions men and women may hold as well as the different strategies they might take： It may contribute to the improvement of the classroom teaching, especially the teaching of oral English. |
