如此“学术品位”——评《中国文言小说总目提要》

宁稼雨所“撰”的《中国文言小说总目提要》意图超越包括《中国文言文小说书目》在内的许多小说书目和词典,但他著录一些己见著录、仍然存在并很容易见到的小说动辄云“未见著录”、“已佚”和“未见”,在小说的分类、类型问题上,也表现得轻率和随意。更让人怀疑他的“学术品位”的是,他的《提要》不但没有“尽可能标明出处来源”,而是大肆“掠美”,其中抄自李剑国的《唐前志怪小说史》和《唐五代志怪传奇叙录》二书的内容最多。

The Bibliography Synopsis of Classical Chinese Novels by Ning Jia-yu Aims to surpass its preceding novel bibliographies and dictionaries, including The Bibliography Synopsis of Classical Chinese Novels, but it contains some existing and recorded novels which, however he recklessly declares were "not recorded", "lost" or "unseen". He is very casual, or even indiscreet when he deals with the classification and types of the novels. What makes us suspect his "academic" is that he doesn't point out the original of the novels as much as possible, but plagiarizes the works of others, including The History of Pre-tang Romances and The Records of Romances in Tang and Five-dynasty Period by Li Jian-guo.
