| Abstract: | The presence today of ‘thinking’ robots has great implications for general management (as opposed to production management). The possibility is clear that within a decade a supercomputer may share or usurp functions of a corporate chief executive—functions that up to now have been thought unsharable. Now is the time to begin planning for such a development. |
