| Abstract: | Idioms,as a special form of language,have their own structural fixity and are flexible in usage.In the creation of idioms there are certain rules to follow.To trace the evolution and variation of English and Chinese idioms,and to explore their creative approaches will enable language learners to widen their scope of knowledge and to improve their abilities in the cross-cultural communications. |
