摘    要:英美文学课程的边缘化问题已成为高校英语专业教育的一个突出问题。针对这一现象,笔者结合英美文学课程的教学实践,对英美文学教学所面临的问题进行了分析和研究。在明确新形势下英美文学教学的目标内涵和层次定位的基础上,对英美文学课程设置的调整、教学内容的改革和教学模式的转变等方面进行大胆的探索和尝试,为英美文学教学改革提出一些建议。

Abstract:The marginalization of British and American literature courses has become a prominent problem for the education of English major in colleges and universities.Aiming at this phenomenon,combined with teaching practice of British and American literature courses,this thesis analyses and studies the problems that British and American literature teaching has been facing.Based on making clear of the objective connotation and the level orientation of British and American literature teaching,curriculum design adjustment,teaching content reformation as well as teaching mode transformation have boldly been explored and experimented,so as to put forward some strategies for teaching reform of British and American literature courses.
