论当代资本与文化的关系

资本的特性在于增殖，文化的本质和使命在于塑造和提升人类的心智及其精神世界；文化应与资本保持适当的批判距离，以保持自己的本性．但随着经济全球化和资本逻辑的扩张，资本不断入侵到文化领域。当代文化的一个突出特点就是文化在资本增殖和经济发展中越来越成为一个关键性的因素．社会主义文化建设中，如何防止资本扩张逻辑对文化的过度入侵，是当代中国社会主义文化建设中一个必须重视的问题。

On the Relations between Contemporary Capital and Culture

The essence of capital is multiplication, while the essence and mission of cuhure lie in shaping anti refining the human state of mind and their mental world. Culture shall keep an appropriate distance for criticism from capital in order to keep its own natm＇e. But as economic globalizatiou and capital logic keep expanding, the realm of culture has heen constantly invaded by capital. Contemporary culture is strikingly characterized by its increasingly critical role in capital multiplication and economic development. How to prevent capital expansion logic from severely sabotaging culture has become an issue to be essentially valued in cultivating socialist culture in contemporary China.
