| Abstract: | Pentagonal chains is a 2-connected plane graph that consists of several regular pentagons. This paper mainly discusses the Merrifield-Simmons index and Hosoya index of extremal pentagonal chains consisted by n regular pentagons, and the recurrence formulas are given. |
