| Abstract: | This paper particularly discusses the course that Britain and Russia contested and carved up the sphere of influence by holding talks in Central Asia, and signed" Britain-Russia Treaty" in 1873. This treaty relieved the tense rivalry between Britain and Russia in the districts, but it encouraged the tendency of expansion of Russia. It's able to afford us to have a comprehensive Understanding of the Britain and Russia intervention in Central Asia so as to see the western imperialists in their true colors. |
