素质教育与教师权威

摘    要:素质教育理论研究和实践探索中,有些同志认为搞素质教育,就是少一点知识教学,提高学生的主体性,就必须降低甚至取消教师权威。当然,传统教育的教师权威的确已显现严重的弊端,当前素质教育改革与这种教育权威传统之间有矛盾冲突之处,但绝不能因此忽视教师权威的存在和影响,主观地谈取消和降低。素质教育要改革过去教育的教师权威传统,树立一种具有时代特色的新的教师权威观。

Abstract:It is held by some educational theorists and teachers that quality education means encouraging a student - centered classroom, in which less knowledge is taught and the teacher cannot be the authority. Teacher authority in conventional education has shown its severe short - comings and there exists a conflict between the quality education reform and the conventional teacher authority. However, the existence and influence of teacher authority can never be neglected in our research. It is our claim that a new concept of teacher authority with the characteristics of the time should be established to replace the conventional one.
