《汉志·诗赋略》"扬雄赋"绎释

对扬雄赋的评价,在两汉之交经历了不小的变化.扬雄赋在扬雄生前及卒后的一段时间内并不为人所看重;元、成时期经学的兴盛、辞赋家地位的卑下、扬雄创作自身存在的问题等,是影响扬雄赋在当时评价的主要因素.<七略>品评优劣,将扬雄赋归入第二等,自有其理由.班固著<汉书>,始高度肯定扬雄的创作与理论.班固在<七略>著录的基础上,增补了扬雄的赋篇总数,同时还继承了扬雄的辞赋观,采用扬雄的见解来评论汉赋创作、续成<诗赋略>末尾的总括性评语.这不仅使扬雄赋的命运发生了根本性的变化,扬雄由此成为西汉赋坛上与司马相如齐名的大家,而且也使扬雄的赋论发扬光大,开始确立起独步西汉、沾溉后世的重要地位.

On Yang Xiong''''s Elaborate Fu in Categories of Shi and Fu

When the Early Han Dynasty changed into the Late Han Dynasty, significant changes were seen in the comments on Yang Xiong's Fu. Before that period, even after Yang's death, no serious attention was paid to it. The reasons for this temporary obscurity were complicated, including the prosperity of Confucian studies during the period of Han Yuan and Han Cheng, the humble status of masters of Ci and Fu, and certain deficiencies of Yang Xiong's Fu. It was reasonable for Seven Categories to classify it as second rate works. Ban Gu, the writer of Han Shu, began to highly praise Yang's works and theories. To Seven Categories Ban not only added Yang's works of Fu, but also inherited his views of Ci and Fu in his comments on the creation of Fu in the Han Dynasty and completed the comprehensive remarks in Categories of Shi and Fu. This fundamentally changed the fate of Yang Xiong's Fu so that Yang enjoyed the same reputation as Si Ma Xiang Ru in the field of Fu during the West Han Dynasty. In addition, it spread and flourished Yang Xiong's views on Fu so that Yang began to establish his uniquely important position and his influence on later generations.
