光分集接收中的孔径效应

摘    要:激光束通过湍流大气后在接收平面上的通量密度相关状况是光分集接收的设计基础。本文讨论了接收天线孔径平滑效应对空间相关性的影响。我们认为孔径平滑效应将增加通量密度的相关距离,但在光斑范围内,仍存在空间不相关的子域,所以分集接收技术仍可用来改善信号质量。实验证实了这一推断,并证实了空间分集接收技术在改善光信号质量方面有很大的潜力。

Abstract:Spatial correlation of laser beam in turbulent atmosphere is the foundation of the diversity technique. This paper discusses the influence of the aperture smoothing effect on the spatial correlation. By means of Huygens-Fresnel principle, the correlation ccefficents are calculated in certain conditions. It is concluded that aperture smoothing effect will increase correlation distance, but there still are incorrelate patches in the spots and diversity technique cotld be used to improve signal quality. The experiments verify this conclusion. Among the 102 groups of the experimental data, 89 groups are obviously improved after adding the powers received by two telescopes seperated in some distances on the spcts.
