关于新文学的评价标准

对中国现代新文学的研究 ,在拿文艺从属于政治、为政治服务作为评价的标准的时代结束之后 ,出现了没有统一的标准的局面。今天不应当以建立新的统一的标准为目标 ,而应当允许并且提倡标准的多样化。但在多样化之中 ,仍旧有一个科学性的问题。文艺既是人类一种特殊的精神活动 ,又属于社会的、历史的现象 ,科学的评价标准 ,应当着眼于这两者的统一。

On Appraisal Standard of New Literature

After the age in which the appraisal standard is that literature and art should subordinate and give service to politics,people have no unitary standard to the research of Chinese modern literature.Today,we should not aim at establishing a new and unitary standard but allow and even advocate the standard's diversification.However,there is a question of scientificalness in standard diversification.Literature and art is not only a human's special spiritual activity,but a social and historical phenomenon,and scientific appraisal standard should be a unification of both.
