本文主要探讨阿库乌雾旅美诗歌中的印第安文明及作家的世界意识。首先分析印第安文明的宗教背景——泛灵论;然后分析诗人对印第安文明衰微的原因进行的思考,如乐善好施、组织松散、自我封闭等,其中虽不排除对历史的误读,但却实现了诗歌的正义;接着探讨诗人对复兴印第安文明的所提出的策略,即顺应历史的潮流自我调整,在发展中实现更好的保护;最后分析诗人所倡导的一种差异的平等:整部诗集贯穿着强烈的人文关怀与博爱情怀。与以前的诗歌创作相比,诗人对世界、对历史、对人类的看法,少了一些激愤与颠覆,多了一种平静与旷达。

Poetry as an International Language: A Study on American Indian Civilization in Aku Wuwu's Poetry

This paper mainly analyzes the Yi poet Aku Wuwu's view on American Indian civilization as shown in his poetry collection The Appeal of the Mississippi River. It firstly discusses how animism, the fundamental religious belief of American Indians, is reflected in Aku's poetry.
