张澜与重庆谈判

重庆谈判期间,中国民主同盟主席张澜同中国共产党保持了密切合作的态度。他呼吁和平民主,抨击国民党专制独裁统治,督促国民党做出让步,力促和谈成功,同毛泽东密切交往,默契配合,在政治上、舆论上给共产党以明确支持,为推动谈判发挥了积极作用。他由亲共逐渐走向了联共。新中国建立,张澜当选为国家副主席,应当说他这一政治地位奠定于重庆谈判时期。

ZHANG Lan and Chongqing Negotiation

During Chongqing Negotiation,ZHANG Lan,the chairman of China Democratic League held a closely co-operative attitude toward the Communist Party of China.He advocated peace and democracy,attacked the Kuomingtang's autocratic rule,and urged them to make some concession to bring out the successful peace negotiation.Acting in close coordination with MAO Zedong,he gave clear-cut support in both politics and public opinion to the Communist Party and promoted the peace negotiation actively.He developed a more and more close relationship to the alliance with the CPC,which paved the way for China Democratic League's acceptance of CPC's leadership.ZHANG Lan was elected Vice President of the Country at the PRC's establishment,which illustrated his political status that was due to his efforts in Chongqing Negotiation.
