| 摘 要： | 本文通过选择几种常用的修辞造词法，研究了它们在三大类事物命名的应用情形。英汉两种语言每天都有大量的新词新语涌现，修辞造词法是它们产生的重要方式。对修辞造词法多角度、多方位的研究有助于加深人们对修辞词语的理解和把握。

| Abstract: | This paper makes a study of some figurative word formations frequently employed in naming in three categories. These figurative word formations play an important role in the formation of new words cropping up in English and Chinese every day. A multi-perspective research into figurative word formations facilitates a better understanding and thus a better grasp of figurative words. |
