摘 要: | 岑家梧是20世纪著名的人类学家、民俗学家、民族学家,被尊为中国人类学、民族学的一代宗师,但不为人所知的是他还曾经在艺术史论研究方面作出过相当突出的成就,是民国时期著名的艺术史家。他在20世纪30、40年代,受到国外艺术社会学观点的影响,曾经向国人介绍当时比较先进的艺术社会学思想,并且运用社会学的观点、方法和人类学、考古学、文献学等方面的资料,对图腾艺术、史前艺术和中国古代美术展开了独特研究,取得了相当的成就,是运用科学观点和方法对于艺术史展开研究的先行者,对中国艺术史学的现代转型作出了重要贡献。

Cen Jiawu and modern transformation of Chinese art historical study |

Abstract: | Cen Jiawu is honored as a great master of Chinese anthropology and ethnonymics for his remarkable achievements in these fields.His research in art historical science,however,is little known to the public.In 1930s and 1940s,he introduced western views of aesthetic sociology into China.By adopting the standpoints and approaches of aesthetic sociology and with the help of documents of anthropology,archeology and philology,he started his academic research and made unique achievements on totem art,prehistory art and ancient Chinese art.As a pioneer of doing research on art history with scientific view and approach,he made great contributions to the modern transformation of Chinese art historical study. |
