| 摘 要： | 酒在中西方文学中有诸多功用,可用于祭祀、礼仪,可消愁,能给人以勇气,能治疗某些疾病,能用作一种武器,能给诗人以灵感.但是过量饮酒既有害于身体又会误事,酒与色有密切的关系,酒还是一种麻醉品.由于酒有许多害处,从古到今都有政府颁布法令禁酒.从中英文学作品中找到一些实例,就这一文化现象进行比较研究,对于认识酒在文学中的作用特别有意义.

| Abstract: | Wine has many functions as is described in the literature of China and in that of the West.These functions include sacrifice to God or heaven,socialization,beguiling sorrow,giving the drinker courage and healing him etc.It can on special occasions be used as a weapon and can give inspiration to certain poets.On the other hand wine has negative effects: it can make the drinker gloomy,harm his health and business,and it is anaesthetizing.Because of these negative functions,laws were enforced in the ancient and modern times in certain countries to forbid indulgence in wine. |
