应对高等教育大众化进程的两对主要矛盾

扩招已经启动了高等教育大众化的进程,并已经遭遇了两对主要矛盾及相关问题的严重制约:规模扩大与经济承受能力有限,学生数量的增长与教学质量的下降苗头;还有相关的年龄开放、婚禁开放等问题。高校规模的有效扩大:一必须通过政府、民间、个人的教育投资体系多样化的重新整合,并完善教育资助体系作补充;二必须扶持民办高校、高职教育、网络远程教育,以达办学体系的多样性。而高校教学质量的有效提高:一靠高校重组,二靠高校就业辅导与专业调整,三靠高校课程、教材、教法调整,四靠高考制度以素质教育为中心的多样化改革。

Two Main Contradictions in the Process of Popularization of Higher Education

At present,in the process of its popularization higher education is faced with two main contradictions:the c ontra-diction between the enlarging scale of tertiary colleges and their limit ed endurance ,and the contradiction between an increase in the number of students and unimpro ved teaching quality.So in this paper ,these main contradictions and oth er related questions are analysed,and the active measures to handle them are also su ggested.
