| 摘 要： | 随着科学技术突飞猛进,尤其是加入WTO之后,我国不断融入世界科技的全球化大环境中,我们对科技英语翻译的需求是不言而喻的。本文在总结科技英语的特点的基础上,结合实例,论述了科技英语翻译的难点所在,说明了科技英语翻译者应具备的基本素质。

| Abstract: | With the quick development of science and technology, especially after the Entry to WTO, China has globalization of science and technology. As a result, we are in great need of transla-tion of English for Science and Technology. This paper, based on the summary of the characteristics of English for Science and Technology, through various examples, discusses the difficulties in transla-tion as well as the basic qualities of translators. |
