现代汉语与中国美学史写作

中国美学史是用现代汉语去讲述中国古代关于美学的资料。现代汉语的学术语汇是在西方近代精神的影响下建立起来的,西方近代学术与各种非西方文化距离最远,矛盾最大,同时与西方现代和后现代学术也有相当的距离。当中国学术在全球化的新形势下要与古代传统和世界各文化沟通的时候,现代汉语已构成的学术语汇的局限就显示出来,中国美学史的写作成为暴露现代汉语学术语汇局限性的一个方面。

Modern Chinese and the Writing of the Aesthetic History of China

To study ancient Chinese aesthetics we have to use the modern Chinese language. The system of academic terminology in modern Chinese was founded under the influence of the modern western ideas, which are far different from those of the non-western cultures. In the time of globalization the limitation of the academic terminology in modern Chinese is easily felt when Chinese scholars attempt to communicate with their own traditional culture and with other cultures in the world. This is also true in writing of the history of ancient Chinese aesthetics.
