Several features emerged in the reduction of rent for land and of interest on loans during the Anti-Japanese War in Shandong.Firstly,corresponding with the evolvement of the war situation,this work has constantly been pushed to a deepening level.Secondly,the masses were mobilized thoroughly,thus leading to a widespread movement of the reduction of rent and interest.Thirdly,the agrarian policy of the Communist Party was transformed into relevant regulations in time,offering the legal guarantee for this movement.An analysis of these characteristics can facilitate a deep understanding of the course of struggle and the achievement of the Communist Party in Shandong during the Neo-democratic Revolution,and can provide significant use for reference for the present work related with the rural areas and farmers.
