Special Position and Role of Institutions of Higher Education in Implementing and Practising the "Three Represents' Theory"

This paper discusses the important position and role of institutions of higher education in implementing Comrade Jiang Zemin's "Three Represents' Theory".The discussion is of four parts:institutions of higher education should be sources of advanced productive forces;they should be poineers in creating and spreading advanced Chinese cultures;they should be models in representing the interests of the broadest masses of people;they should be important positions to learn and study the important theory of "Three Representations".Thus the paper has provided a way of thinking in the discussion of how institutions of higher education should practise the "Three Represents' Theory".
