释意派理论关照下的口译技巧研究

Interpretation Strategies Built on the Sense-based Theory

On the basis of French sense-based theory and several consecutive interpretation examples, this paper aims to show the favorable influence of the theory on the interpreting process. The sense-based theory divides the consecutive interpretation process into three steps, namely comprehension, deverbalisation and re-expression. In particular, this theory focuses on ＂sense＂, creating a brand new idea that interpretation should ＂deverbalise＂ the word cover of the original speech and abstract ＂sense＂ out of it. Such separation between word and sense provides the interpreters a tool to better understand the source language.
