| Abstract: | Comparing with the studies of language transfer in early stages, the study of language transfer from cognitive framework pays more attention on the role of learner in determining when and how the native language is transferred. This paper illustrates this feature from several aspects, such as constraints on language transfer, analysis of language transferability, language transfer as communicative and learning strategies. |
